Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, June 12, 2012 - QBC Diagnostics announced today that it will be exhibiting at the Clinical Lab Expo, hosted by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, from July 15 to 19.

The company will introduce the 2012 QBC STAR Centrifugal Hematology System, which now includes Laboratory Information System connectivity and USB ports for simple peripheral connections. Another new introduction at the expo this year for QBC Diagnostics will be the QBC FM Scan, an easy to use microscope camera attachment. Although optimized for use with the QBC ParaLens Advance, the QBC FM Scan can equally be used on any fluorescence or light microscope with similar functionality. Also on display in the QBC Diagnostics booth will be the ParaLens Advance LED fluorescence microscope attachment, F.A.S.T. (Fluorescent and Staining Technologies) AFB Kits, and the recently introduced F.A.S.T. Malaria Stain, all designed and manufactured to make the adoption of fluorescence microscopy easier and more affordable for users everywhere.

This marks the eighth year that QBC will be attending the Clinical Lab Expo, which is once again expected to be the year's largest gathering of clinical lab professionals in the world. QBC Diagnostics can be found at Booth #4855, West Exhibitor Hall, at the event.
